  1. Nicely edited to show scenes from 2004's "ALI" and 2006's "THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS" (sic) that matched Smith's speech. Wish there was more "Fresh Prince and Jazzy Jeff" though.

  2. While most things in the video were fairly standard basic stuff that you hear in almost every inspirational video, I was only really intrigued by the short part on talent vs skill. Personally, I think I was born with two talents, being writing and acting. Everything else that I'm good at was achieved through practice, whether it be certain videogames, drawing (kind of), singing, anything. Practice hones skill and once that skill is sharp enough, you can be "good" at something. Oftentimes people are told that they have no talent in something, and that's perfectly fine since they can just practice practice practice until they achieve their goal.

  3. The video was really inspiring and it put me to think about a lot of things. The words that impacted me the most were "you shouldn't have a plan b, because it will distract you from plan a." Always believe that you will make it through and be successful. Always remember that your life and the things that you have gone through, inspires someone else.

  4. The morning reflection was inspiring almost and showed me that to get where I want to be I have to be committed to it and push through every obstacle that get's thrown my way. Because all those obstacles won't do anything but help me excel.

  5. Cool another inspirational video with the same message. We need more variety in these morning reflections. Sure it was inspirational, but it feels like we have already watched the same video three different times.

  6. I appreciate what Will was trying to say and all the cuts were great (I mean, hey some old will smith movies are some of my favourite) but I believe that simply we all do have potential and the way he puts it "...the universe will move for you" is kind of downplaying the effort needed that he was trying to explain. Some people will make it by pure talent alone it's just that good other need to bust their butts working as hard as possible to create a better outcome for their future, as well as their people who have this possibility but never pursuing.

  7. a lot of people in these comments keep saying that this was very inspiring. for some reason this didn't get to me. i liked the scenes more than what he was saying. sure some of the things made you think, but nothing new.

  8. I liked the video and how it showed clips from Will Smiths movies in the background, whether it pertained to what he was saying or not.

  10. I liked what the speech said about how talent is natural but skills are developed through dedication. The videos movie clips though were distracting at times. Sometimes they added to the intensity but at other times it was distracting and I would shift my focus to the clips rather than the words.

  11. I liked the video because everything that will smith spoke of was true. People believe that just because they have a natural talent that they don't have to put in any work to become better. They think that because they are a natural in time they'll just get better because they are good at what they do. But in reality if you don't work hard to become better at what you do, you won't reach the heights you aspire to because of your lack of work ethic.

  12. This video showed me that believing in yourself is very important. For others to believe you, you have to believe yourself. Never pace realism in from of your dreams. As long as you are confident with everything that you value, you will be able to accomplish that and more. You have to commit to get to success. To get to success, you have to through some hard times and in the end, if you're still as passionate as you were at the start, you will remain successful.

  13. The video was inspiring. It said that it's better to go through obstacles and learn from them to make you better. It really makes you think deeply on things and on your life. You have to have commitment to succeed in life.

  14. This video was your average go to inspirational video and it lacked the ability to keep me entertained. However, I did not agree with "the universe will get out your way". This is not how it works and the universe is not going to magically create a path and part ways for you. You work to carve that path.
