  1. That was good in the lightest sense I could put it. I'm geting anxiety as I'm writing this because I want to make sure I express how amazing that was, but my words wont do. 10/10 amazing Poem Grace.

  2. I really liked the poem. The emotion that was shown throughout helped me better understand and connect to the poem. I connect to the poem because I also have anxiety, and it was nice to hear somebody speak about it. I also liked the language choice. It was nice to hear the different similes and metaphors used. They were unique and I loved it.

  3. OMG GRACE! I thought that was the best morning reflection yet! It really showcased Grace's talent and her amazing use of diction ad articulation added to her poem. It touched the audience because of how it had a personal sense to it and I could relate to it because of how I encounter anxiety sometimes. I loved her passion and you could tell that she connected with her work and that makes it all the more special.

  4. Grace's poem was great, I liked it personally because she was able to reflect on herself and open herself to an audience without any shame or shyness. She spoke as if she were just talking to one person which helped her feel less nervous and helped the crowd feel more comfortable with listening as well.

  5. DANG. DANG. holy crepe. That is so awesome Grace like seriously; you are such a talented poet. I love the reliability that your poem offers. Such as the title, which is very clever. I love how you had it memorized, and how you performed it rather than just speaking it. Seriously, like I'm super jealous. You should seriously consider a career or something in this field. You have the potential to do so much. Everything about that poem was fantastic, maybe I'm star struck but i literally can not find a single negative thing about that poem.Impressive, I'm a fan.

  6. That was so amazing and it really took guts to perform it in front of the class. Grace described anxiety in a different way than others which made it unique. Plus the title was creative. Her writing is always wonderful and the way she used details made it even more deep. I think that Grace should definitely perform this piece at the Coffee House.

  7. Wow Grace, that was amazing! Your voice was so powerful. I admire you as a person and completely as a poet! I can totally identify with the subject. I have struggled with anxiety for as long as I can remember, most of my life really and it is a battle; a constant war inside your mind. It is comforting to know that others feel those things and it makes me feel a little less alone.

  8. This poem was a very well written and detailed one, in both its tone and metaphors. Not only was it well written, but the performance was very impressive in conveying the work's purpose. The slow breaths, shut eyes, and rubs to the head all helped to establish this feeling of anxiety that always seems to come and go as it pleases, serving only as an inconvenience on the body and mind. This subject also serves to the poem's benefit, as it is easily relatable to the audience. Even now, as I write this comment, I feel anxiety by thinking of how it might hurt or offend the author. It was a very passionate and lovely work and I can't wait to see it once its finished.

  9. I really loved Grace's performance so much. She performed soo good, and I loved the poem. Her hand gestures, and movements were great. She looked like she wasn't scared at all. She was really loud, and looked really comfortable up there. Her poem really related to me, because I have anxiety. I really loved this, it was a beautiful poem.

  21. Wow. Just wow, that was really impressive. I'm upset that I missed the first reading of your poem, but I am just blown away by the imagery you used. The metaphors you used really hit home and was an overall amazingly written poem. There is no way we can top that.
