I don't know about this music or these musicians but it was cool to hear something different and watch the video of them performing in concert.

ReplyDeleteI liked the video because it gave me a new view on Prince. I never knew that he could play the guitar so well. Also, the song was really good. The lyrics are really good and powerful. Overall, I like the morning reflection a lot.
ReplyDeleteI love Prince. Prince is love Prince is life. This video was very interesting. I've been listening to The Beatles for my entire life and I've always appreciated their music because I grew up listening to them. This cover was interesting because Prince was a part of it. Great song, deep lyrics, stunning performance and good job Tyshon. You seem to have an authentic taste in music.
ReplyDeleteToday I wanted to let everyone that music can define you as a person. Also it can make you express yourself with the lyrics that are shared. I really like the song 'WHILE MY GUITAR GENTLY WEEPS" because it shows how everything has purpose from time and aging. Prince's guitar solo actually gave meaning to the lyrics and exaggerate the tone to make the crowd Electrified. I myself think that music shouldn't be labeled by character.
ReplyDeleteThe cover of "While my guitar gently weeps" was beautifully done. Prince and Tom Petty were a surprisingly good match and they complimented each others talents really well. I thought it was funny that George Harrison didn't play a larger role in the song, since he wrote and composed it. I really enjoy when a song has a deeper message, and this song definitely delivered.
ReplyDeleteThe video Tyshon showed us for the morning reflection today was captivating! Ever since I was a little girl I have always wished to be musically gifted. Its absolutely amazing what music can do to the soul.
ReplyDeleteTodays morning reflection was quite interesting. I found it to be rather weird, probably because I don't listen to that type of music. I think it was actually interesting that Tyshon shared this because it allowed me to broaden my musical awareness. The guitarist was awesome, I enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteTyshon's morning reflection was really cool! I don't really prefer that kind of music but I do give credit to amazing artists and legends when I see them. I knew Prince was a very well-rounded performer but I had no idea he was that talented when it came to instruments. His guitar solo was awesome and I thought him falling off the stage and throwing his guitar at the end added to his performance. I was not aware to the other singers and guitarists but it opened my eyes to other genres of music.
ReplyDeletePrince is just a ridiculous talent, it is amazing how he can take an already great performance to the next level. I think its amazing how composers like George Martin can display a message in their music and also create compositions that sound great. Going back the Prince he really took that song to a new place with his style and skill. Great performance.
ReplyDeleteI was really impressed by the performance of "While my Guitar Gently Weeps". While it was difficult to hear the lyrics, as it usually is during a live performance, the wide range of instruments I thought was truly impressive. I'm not used to seeing so many artists on one stage before, what with the decaying popularity of rock and roll, but I do enjoy seeing such incredible talent on stage. This piece, I felt, helped to make me more familiar with such a famous genre, as well as its artists.
ReplyDeleteTodays morning reflection was interesting. I never listen to that genre of music, but I liked the guitars a lot. This was something new, and it was very powerful.
