  1. The video was a cover of a David Guetta song. It has really interesting camera angles and cool settings. They are playing the song with only a piano and a cello yet it still sounds really good. Although there isn't anyone singing, it's easy to tell what sing it is because of how well the instruments are played and put together. I find it interesting how there are instruments in the middle of the woods and at a canyon. It must've been heavy to bring them to those random places.

  2. The video in the link above depicts a piano and cello cover of the David Guetta song Titanium by The Piano Guys. It cuts between shots in the woods and Bryce Canyon National Park. Although it lacks vocals, it’s really hard to even notice. The setting in which this was filmed greatly added to the song as well, along with the camera angles. The camera seems to almost be floating around them, giving the entire video a light and airy atmosphere to it. The natural lighting as well is manipulated throughout the video. Honestly, what I find most impressive about the video is how they got the piano to those different places. It must’ve been very difficult, considering how heavy and heard to move piano’s are.

  3. I found the video very interesting, because what I always love to do is to listen to something like that, and see if I can pick out each individual part of it. It's one instrument playing several parts, so it's always fun to see if you can hear how many parts there are. The music itself was very good, but finding each part is the real fun.

  4. That performance was pretty impressive. Not only where they were playing made it impressive, but also the music they played was very good. The setting certainly made the music more powerful, but it would've been good music anywhere. I was very impressed from what I saw and heard in that video.

  5. It was strange to see this music being played in a forest and a canyon. However, it was kind of awesome to see this being done in nature instead of in a studio. The scenery was powerful and it added extra sentiment to the song. Instead of just hearing the song being played there was visual to it that made it more appealing.

  7. this cover by David Guetta was very interesting. I loved the way he joined all the instruments together to create that cover. It caught my attention because I've never heard anyone do a cover like that. The way they did it in the woods was awesome.

  8. While watching the video, the video gave me inspiration and a open mind about where a story can take place. Setting is the ultimate piece toward your story and defines a lot of what your main idea is about. It also helps you to learn how you can use your setting in various ways to set the perfect tone.

  9. i think it was pretty incredible! i hear the song on the radio all the time and i think they nailed it perfectly. The nature scenery, especially the camera angles of the setting, were very powerful. I'm just wondering how long it took them to do this. but, all in all, that was one of the most impressive covers i've ever heard.

  10. The you tube video we just watched in class was phenomenal. The way they filmed the shots were great, this is because they were on the cliff playing the piano and the cello. Also the camera shots were clear and very daring, I liked the way they clashed two songs together into one cover. I felt like I was there live hearing their lovely music they both were so into it. that's what made the video more likeable.

  11. another note: they did an electronica song in instrumental perfectly... trust me, thats not really easy to match up that combo.

  12. This video was breath taking. The composition of this music piece was just outstanding! The Piano Guys using a newer, more popular song helps us to relate and draws us in. It peeks our interests. Also, I like how he took two songs and composed them together! That was just pure genius. I loved how moved he was by his own work; he was lost in his music when playing. I think that's key when presenting your work, actually liking what you're doing, and the fact that he was so into his own music, I think, drew us in as well.

  13. The YouTube video we just watched was very cool. I liked it because it was an instrumental version of a popular song. I've heard covers of it before but only on the piano so it was nice to hear both a piano and a cello together! The way that they mashed it up was very interesting and their setting really gave the video a deeper feel. It seemed like a contrast between places (mountains and forests) but it worked. It gave it a soft edge to the slower parts and a more rough edge to the more intense parts. His passion for playing was really obvious and it was just overall a great video.

  14. The video covered by David Guetta, was called titanium. they play the song with a cello and piano, to be honest that is amazing because singers need all of these instruments to make their music sound outstanding, when all they need is a damn cello and piano. The setting around this video was very pretty.

  15. The original song was great but this cover was even greater because it was relaxing, inspiring, touching. Seeing the guys play the instruments was just touching and inspiring because they were playing with passion, they were in the zone just going all out, breathing through their nose and etc. The setting was beautiful and the song as well.

  16. This instrumental by the boys in the video was very inspiring for me. The way the video came together as one was just perfect and it was a good piece overall. I really like how they played cello and piano and the video. I felt like the video was telling a story by the movement and the way they were playing the instruments.

  17. This was a really nice cover, but i didn't know the real song. It was cool how they made it sound like a live instrumental. The music was really relaxing, and melodical. The setting made it come to life more.

  18. I really liked the video because the canyon was so pretty. It was cool how they shot the video from many angles, so it felt like you were almost there. I would totally go to Utah, it looks amazing. So much rock! I think that time would be palpable in a place like that. Like you could reach out and feel millions of years brushing your fingertips. The music was nice too. Very inspirational and whatnot.

  19. I thought the instrumental was beautiful and I love the sound of the piano. The different places they showed were nice as well but the middle of no where isn't exactly my forte.
