  1. I like Moore's thought behind his stories. The plot that holds up these stories is, as described by Moore, the equation by which one calculates the movement of the story. I like how he used the equation metaphor to show the plot and I may use the "equation" to solve for my story as well. Another point he made was about balancing humor and the story itself. I myself am not the best with humor and don't tend to write a lot of humor but I agree with him when he said if the reader misses a lot of your jokes, they're going to turn in you. He also said how even if you strip ALL of his humor from his stories, the story itself hold up pretty good. It shows how the story, even when it's comedy, shouldn't depend on humor entirely.
