AGENDA:
1. For those of you that want to retake the quiz from Friday or were not here on Friday to take it, I will give you about 10 minutes to do so. If you are unsure about retaking it, come talk to me and I will tell you what you got on Friday and you can decide the.
2. After that, split into groups of 2-3 (seven groups total). Each group will be assigned one of the chapters that was supposed to be read for today. In your groups, provide a summary of the chapter and 3 key points from the chapter.
- Focus on developments between the characters, the different writing techniques that Ivey uses, and the different elements of magical realism that we have discussed.
Your groups will them share and discuss your summaries and key points with the class.
3. With the time left in class, finalize your choice of folktale/fairytale if you haven't already. Ms. Gamzon and I need to know what your choice is by the end of class today!
