  1. 1. Everyone has been exposed to Vampire lore, either through books, movies, or television. How does Jody's transformation into a vampire differ from how you always thought someone became a vampire? In what ways is it similar?

Jody’s transformation into a vampire differs from how I always thought someone became a vampire, by the misery and the way she feels of life. From my own vampire experiences; from books, movies or television when a human being is transformed into a vampire, immediately they feel empowered and superhuman. In the majority of movies right after the transformation, a vampire lusts and craves for a taste of human flesh. In the ways Jody’s transformation is similar to another vampire lore is that, its common every vampire is in love with a non-vampire. Throughout their phases of being an immortal nocturnal bloodsucking creature, they feel the need to always protect its significant loved one.

    2. Jody and Tommy's relationship moves at a rather alarming pace, and within a week of meeting each other, they are in love. Is love at first sight possible? Or in their case, at first bite? Why do they connect so instantly?

With the alarming pace Jody and Tommy’s relationship accelerated within the first week of meeting each other, with that being falling in love. I believe that in some cases love at first sight can be faced in reality, but not in Jody and Tommy’s case. In my perspective I believe that the couple both connected so instantly due to that both persons were both learning about acceptance of their new lives that there now facing. Jody is grasping and learning how to deal with the fact that she’s no longer “alive” and is now an immortal creature that lives off of a human beings supply of blood. Tommy on the other hand, is learning how to prove himself to his father that he can make his way through alone in his new home.

Once Jody becomes a vampire, she finds that she has many new and different abilities, including super strength, heightened senses, and super speed. Which do you think is her most needed new super ability?

Now that Jody became a vampire, she now has new and different abilities that include of super strength, heightened senses and super speed. I believe that the most needed new super ability Jody needs is her heightened senses. Now that she has transformed into a real life vampire, her life is at danger in many new ways and forms. So with the power given, she can use it at all times not only for survival nut for protection. Her senses can sense prey, which will give her a longer life and also protect her from enemies that can harm her, for example older vampires.
