In the picture I see mud the color of clay and a little goat. There is a broken fence. The goat looks neglected and like he is sad. He makes me feel as if he wants to leave and get out of the fence but he can’t. The picture makes me sad because the goat looks sad and dirty like nobody cares for him. I feel as if the goat should be set free into a cleaner environment. I feel as if the goat is trapped inside a cage like a human in a cell. The green bushes and trees are taunting the goat and mocking him of the freedom he doesn’t have.
The horizon was a golden bathtub. The sky splashed against the edges, gently rippling against the soapy white clouds. The buildings were a myriad of lego blocks. The colors seemed to add up to an endless rainbow. The road was a crudely constructed bubble construction, the rocks bobbing up into the tires of the car. In the distance, a small blue lego block construction appeared in the tub, a tower of signs propelled off the ground by two wooden rods. The fourth sign from the top read “Bob’s Hair Design”. You couldn’t read the words etched beneath it.
The houses look almost alike, but in all different shades of brown. There is barely enough room in the street for cars to pass. Children run through the different open houses, playing tag. The windows have bars on them. The trees are very large, towering over the houses and giving great shade. There’s dirt coming from the sides of the houses, just entering the street.
Small cacti and bushes spot the sandy brown landscape. A tree struggles to grow under the intense heat. Eroded rock formations grow from the ground in different shapes, and sizes. One formation, that looks like a hand, points to God. Mounds of dirt and sand surround the bases of the formations. Small dark clouds roll over the mountains, leaving dark shadows. The rolling ground looks as if it cannot sustain life, but small bushes and cacti, and one tree grow throughout the area. The mountains show that after years of torment from the earth, they are still here. That’s all I got from the picture…
This picture gives me an eerie feeling, it seems like this house belongs in a horror film. It gives off a dark feeling, negativity and all. The house has to be really old because the paint has peeled off. If you look closely, its on sale, which brings the question to mind—who would want to buy that kind of house? Nobody! It is kind of like a haunted house that no one wants, the one house on the block that is forbidden and feared. When I see this picture I am reminded of a house that you would blatantly avoid, or cross the street in order to NOT come in any contact with it.
Why are the mountains burdened with the color brown? Maybe Jesus spilled his coffee on them as he stumbled Across the plateau he so distinctively made to cradle the mountains.
I watch the rainbows kiss the side of the mountain. Maybe to show the dull colors that there was indeed hope. Hope that maybe one day they will become as beautiful as it.
Maybe Jesus stained the mountains purposely the color of coffee To withstand the elements, and shield it from being washed away Like the colors of a rainbow.
In this picture it shows that there is house set in the middle of nowhere . There's a peep hole where they can look and see what's going on which there's going to be nothing only because it set in the middle of now where . It's looks like in order to get to the house you will only have to climb up the mountain to get there . After searching this picture it's called canyon deshay , it shows peaceful and a relaxing nature . This picture makes me feel relaxed .
The sky is bright blue but as it comes closer to the horizon clouds begin to form. You can see the layers in the canyon alternating between lighter and darker shades of orange. There is a shadow on the majority of the left side of the picture and the sun illuminates the canyon on the right. The shadows represent the mysteries and unknown found in the canyon. The picture is a relaxing view but it makes me feel curious. It makes me want to explore the mysterious wonders of the canyon.
Spider Mountain – In my opinion it looks like two fingers sinking slowly into the earth with the rest of the person. It makes me think of being buried alive in a puddle of quick sand that dried up years ago. I feel like I age looking at the lines of erosion, but with wisdom. Enjoying nature’s beauty, being content where I started with the basics of classic evolution. No technology, no muss no fuss.
The picture of the Mexican man in a uniform on a donkey shows the obvious pride he has in where he’s from. The fact that he has no shame in riding around on a donkey dressed like he’s senile shows me that he’s a little too proud or that half his brain is missing. It must be nice to have no concern at all for your self-image. Lookin’ good mister.
The building decayed around the edges like it unraveling. Its face was obscured behind a gate keeping the world out as the fleur-de-lis pointed toward heaven. Rotting away at the edges and locked away from the world in its own crumbling timeline. The maw had a duel purpose, keeping the universe out and containing the overflowing time of the house. A green line breaks across the grey pushing up to the sky. A beanstalk propelled by nature, taking back its territory. The green spindle punctures the time line, the timelessness of nature, clashing with the unwinding of humanity. The stalk would grow and spread, but now, for this moment it was just a crack in the line.
White clouds rolled across the dim blue sky, the red earth below absorbing in the scorching sun. The warm air blows ripples across the cool river that lay at the bottom of the valley. Smooth, skin-toned rocks lay scattered along the shore. The crimson ground was full of cracks, like the skin of over worked hands. Although desolate, life still managed to pry its way out of the crumbly earth; pastel pink wildflowers bloom out from the ground. Light shadows are casted across the ground from the thinning clouds above. Dark green bushes scattered across the land, bringing color to the burgundy lands of Arizona.

ReplyDeleteHouse of Time
ReplyDeleteThe old cryptic house stood watching as centuries passed,
Cactus plants and weeds grew out of the crevices of the dried Earth,
Living then dying.
Dinosaur bones fossilized the walls of the house,
Paint chips broke off after every gust of wind brushed against it-
Sheltering tiny on travelers.
The house sits and waits for time to change,
Quietly overlooking
The immortal desert.
